How does the parcel packing video system work?
The packer scans the order barcode, which starts recording on that station's camera. The order number, station and timestamp are overlaid on the video. The next scan closes the clip and starts a new one. Clips are compressed, stored and indexed by order number so they can be found instantly.
What hardware do I need?
Typically a barcode scanner and an IP or USB camera per packing station, plus a PC or small computer to run the recorder. We recommend specific models based on your budget and existing setup.
Does it work with Shopify, WooCommerce or marketplace orders?
Yes. The recorder only needs the order number printed on the label or packing slip, so it works alongside any store or marketplace. Deeper integrations, such as linking videos inside your admin, can be added.
How long are videos stored?
You choose. Clips can be kept on local storage, in the cloud or both, with automatic deletion after a retention period that matches your return and dispute window.
Will it slow down our packers?
No. Packers already scan orders, and the scan is the only trigger. There are no extra buttons or steps.
Can you automate other parts of the warehouse?
